My name is Claire Barrett and I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer counselling to individuals and couples and work with wide range of emotional difficulties. Based in the Orpington / Petts Wood area, I am conveniently situated for clients living in the surrounding areas of SE London & Kent.

There are times in our lives when we experience problems that we find difficult to cope with. Perhaps you feel unexplainably low or possibly you just don’t feel yourself but are not sure why. Counselling is a talking therapy. I will not give you advice or tell you how to solve your problems, but I can give you the opportunity to explore how you feel and make sense of your difficulties in a safe & confidential environment. Counselling can give you greater personal insight & self-awareness, which helps you make long-lasting changes that allow you to lead a more fulfilled life with an increased sense of well-being. My aim as a counsellor is to support you in gaining the confidence and capacity to support yourself.
