Browsing this website can be done so anonymously. However, users choosing to contact me by clicking on the contact email link will be providing me with personal data. The data collected may include your name, contact details and any other personal or sensitive data you may wish to share with me. Please be aware that disclosing this information is done so at your own discretion and at your own risk.
It is best to be mindful that the transmission of information by email via the internet is never completely secure. I would therefore recommend that any sensitive data is only disclosed either in the safety of the counselling room or via a confidential telephone call. However, personal data such as contact information will be required so that I can contact you, either by email or telephone, in order to discuss any services requested by or already provided to you.
I will endeavor to store any data received via email securely and until a time it is no longer required or has no use.
The email account info@clairebarrettcounselling.co.uk is password protected and accessed only from password protected devices owned by me. Any data supplied by email will be kept for one month following the end of counselling or from initial enquiry, whereupon email content and your email address will be deleted.
